Learn-to-cycle & safe cycling programmes for schools

SEP-endorsed cycling brought entirely to your school: our fleet supplies bikes and helmets for whole classes, coaches teach non-riders to ride, and safe cycling education gives every student road sense that lasts.

Three tiers

Programme structure

Learn-to-cycle

Balance-first progression that takes non-riders from scooting to pedalling, usually within the programme block. Small coach-to-student ratios for the students who need hands-on support, and no student left watching from the side.

Safe cycling education

Road sense for students who can already ride: signalling, hazard awareness, park connector etiquette and helmet habits, taught through guided practical circuits rather than slides.

Cycling expeditions

Guided rides for upper primary and secondary levels on park connectors near your school or from our Pasir Ris base, with lead and sweep coaches, regroup points and route plans matched to ability.

Why it works

The fleet changes everything

Most cycling programmes stall on logistics: not every student owns a bike, and transporting thirty bicycles is nobody's idea of fun. We own our fleet, based at Pasir Ris and run by the same team behind momentumcyclesg.com, so bikes and helmets for a whole class arrive with the coaches, sized on the spot, maintained by us. Your school provides an open space; we provide everything else.

Safety structure

Coned circuits, controlled progressions, helmet checks every session and First Aid certified coaches. Parents ask; you will have answers.

Ratios that teach

Coach-to-student ratios set by ability mix, with extra hands on learn-to-cycle groups where individual support decides success.

Real progression proof

Schools get a simple end-of-block summary: who progressed from non-rider to rider, and what the cohort can now do.

Customer experience

Feedback from a school cycling expedition

“Rented bicycles from them for expedition for my school programme. Excellent experience. Mike was great in coordinating the various needs and support required.”

Good to know

School cycling questions, answered

Can this use our SEP grant?

Yes. Our cycling programme is SEP-endorsed, so eligible schools can apply the $10,000 dollar-for-dollar matching grant. See the SEP hub for how the grant works.

What if most of a class cannot ride?

That is the classic starting point. The learn-to-cycle progression is designed for exactly this, and most non-riders are pedalling independently within the block.

Where does the programme run?

On your school grounds if there is open hardcourt or field space, at a nearby park, or at our Pasir Ris base for expedition formats. We advise on the best fit during scoping.

Do you provide all the bikes and helmets?

Yes, for the whole class, in a range of sizes, maintained by our team. Students who prefer their own bikes can bring them.
