Three progressions

What an Outdoor Education block covers

Movement trails

Multi-station outdoor circuits combining balance, climbing-adjacent and coordination challenges, scaled to P1 and P2 ability and rebuilt weekly as pupils progress.

Wheeled mobility

Balance bike progressions from our own fleet, building the pre-cycling balance and steering skills pupils need before ever touching pedals.

Safe exploration

Simple navigation and orienteering-style games introducing map awareness, boundaries and safe decision-making outdoors, in a fully supervised, game-based format.

Why it works outdoors

Built for your actual school grounds

No dedicated space needed

Field, covered court or a sheltered walkway all work. Coaches assess your grounds before the block starts and design stations to fit what you actually have.

Equipment included

Balance bikes, cones, markers and trail equipment all come from our own fleet. Nothing for the school to source or store.

Wet weather covered

Every outdoor session has a sheltered or indoor variant planned in advance, so the block keeps moving regardless of weather.

Good to know

Outdoor Education questions, answered

Do pupils need their own bikes?

No. Balance bikes and helmets come from our own fleet, sized for P1 and P2 pupils, nothing for families or the school to provide.

What if our school has limited outdoor space?

Coaches assess your grounds before the block starts and design the trail and station layout around whatever field, court or sheltered area you actually have.

Is this safe for pupils who cannot cycle yet?

Yes, that is the starting point. The balance bike progression is designed for complete beginners, building steering and balance before pedalling ever comes into it.

How do schools engage you for PAL Outdoor Education?

Direct quote or through GeBIZ. Many schools tender both PAL domains together; we respond to ITQs and tenders and support year-long engagements with option years.
